Research Opportunities

Baruch STEP scholars have the chance to present their studies or research at various times throughout the year.

All summer students present their scientific display, engineering project, website, or studies at the annual Summer Showcase.

Juniors and Seniors have the option to enroll in our Research Methods Seminar where they conduct scientific research on a topic of interest to them. They can then present their findings in a poster format and participate in the NYC Regional Expo held in early Spring at a local college.

Research Scholars that score well in the NYC Regional Expo have the chance to travel to Albany for the Annual Statewide STEP Conference held each June. The weekend consists of poster competitions, networking opportunities from students and faculty around the state, college fair, awards dinner, and of course a dance party.
